Appreciative Coaching (Virtual Event)

Appreciative Coaching

Hosted by ICF Nevada

Appreciative Inquiry is the study and exploration of what gives life to human systems when they function at their best. Appreciative Coaching is grounded in the idea that human systems—whether organizations, teams, or individuals—evolve and expand in the direction of their focus. This approach emphasizes harnessing and amplifying an individual or organization’s core positive potential, steering away from problem-centric dialogues towards exploring possibilities and potentials. This model aligns seamlessly with the core competencies outlined by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

In this session, coaches will be introduced to aspects of Appreciative Coaching that can be applied in any coaching session that accelerates transformative growth.

Learning Objectives:
● Be Introduced to the fundamentals of Appreciative Coaching and the 5 principles that undergird the approach: Constructionist, Positive, Simultaneity, Poetic, and Anticipatory Principles
● Experience Appreciative Coaching questions through a quick write
● Attain the Appreciative Coaching 4/D Framework: Discover, Dream, Design, Destiny & the Four I Model: Initiate, Inquire, Imagine, Innovate
● Explore opportunities where aspects of Appreciative Coaching would be most effective
