September 2024 Newsletter

Greetings Coaches!

This month I want to highlight the work our Leadership Board is conducting on succession planning. As I've talked with Coaches around the state, there is a strong commitment to maintaining our identity as a New Mexico chapter, which requires continuous efforts to develop and engage volunteers.

Many of our current leadership members are committed to serving another year, which is a wonderful position for our chapter to be in. Our leadership team is a dynamic group of committed coaches who work together to create educational and social opportunities, foster community, and promote a sense of belonging among coaches in New Mexico. I encourage you to learn more about our leadership team on our website at ICF New Mexico Leadership.

We have a few spots open on the 2025 board for coaches who want to play an active role in shaping the future of coaching in our state. If this resonates with you, please reach out to Sonja Harris (ICF NM Secretary) at sonja@sonjaharriscoaching.com by October 1. Elections will take place in October - November with board terms beginning January 1, 2025.

Warm Regards,
Deborah Thompson, PCC
ICF New Mexico President
