January 2025 Newsletter

Greetings Coaches!

As I write this, we're getting a light layer of snow here in Albuquerque, and the wild peacocks in my neighborhood are huddling to stay warm. Winter is undoubtedly upon us! I recently read a post stating that January is a month full of Mondays - it certainly feels that way for me as we shift our energy to solidify goals and get important projects underway.

Simultaneously, our thoughts this week are with our fellow coaches, clients, friends, and family members in Los Angeles who are facing unimaginable tragedy, devastation, and loss. Our colleagues at ICF Los Angeles are putting together information on how we can all help, which we will pass on to you in the coming weeks.

On a positive note, our new board of directors (see us below!) convened this past weekend in Albuquerque to lay out our chapter's 2025 priorities. It was an amazing opportunity to connect as a team and to focus our priorities on what is most important to our members and coaching colleagues throughout New Mexico. As a leadership board, we are committed to advancing coaching excellence, impact, and value in New Mexico and beyond. A huge thank you to our good friend and coach colleague Dan Dominguez at Why Not Leadership for hosting us at the Albuquerque Country Club. I also want to thank the entire board of directors for their time, courage, and commitment to our work.
