Dear ICF Members,
As our chapter continues to grow and thrive, we are always looking for passionate and dedicated members to help shape our future. This is an exciting invitation to consider serving on our Board of Directors for 2026.
Serving on the Board is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the strategic direction and success of our chapter. It's a chance to make a significant impact on our community of coaches, foster professional development, and expand our reach.
Why consider serving?
- Shape the Future: Play a direct role in guiding the chapter's initiatives, events, and overall vision.
- Professional Growth: Develop leadership skills, gain governance experience, and expand your professional network by collaborating with fellow leaders.
- Community Impact: Contribute to a vibrant and supportive community that empowers coaches and elevates the coaching profession.
- Give Back: Share your expertise, time, and passion to support your peers and the broader coaching ecosystem.
We are seeking diverse perspectives and skill sets to ensure our Board reflects the richness of our membership. Whether you have experience in finance, marketing, program development, membership engagement, or simply a strong desire to contribute, your unique talents are valuable.
If you are interested in learning more about the commitment, roles, and responsibilities involved, or if you'd like to discuss how your skills could align with our needs, please reach out to me at President@icfnewmexico.org or Sonja Harris, chapter Secretary at secretary@icfnewmexico.org.
Warm Regards,
Deborah Thompson, PCC

| | | | | Coaches Case Study
Date: September 10, 2025
Time: 4:00pm - 6:00pm MDT
Our Case Study program is an experiential in-depth group exploration of the underlying themes and dynamics of a coaching client case presented by one of the participants.
We will:
- Get in touch with processes related to the given client or topic.
- Identify and work with the dynamics in the relational field between coach and client.
- Gain clarity about the patterns that support as well as hinder the coaching work.
In our journey through the process, the community will:
- Share experiences and knowledge of coaching to support the person bringing the case and expand the learning of the group.
- Deepen inquiry skills.
- Learn by the reflections observed.
- Strengthen networks and enrich practices by sharing stories, and valuing and appreciating each other’s work.
Registration is capped at 10 people.
All registrants are encouraged to reflect on a coaching case they would like to bring forward for the group. This is generally a situation that you would like to better understand - perhaps your choices, options, feelings, approach, impacts, etc. It may be something from the past that feels unfinished, something you are anticipating in the future, or something happening right now in the present. As a case presenter, you will have the chance to hear questions from peers about your case and to get input that may provide new insights on working with clients. The focus is NOT on solving the client's problem nor on assessment of your skills or ability as a coach. The focus is on your experience as a coach and facilitating new insights and awareness.
