ICF New Mexico 2020 Winter Social

Every year the chapter meets in December to celebrate the previous year and look forward to the year to come. This year’s focus with be variations on the theme of “Dreams.” The virtual celebration will include some fun facilitated activities to help us connect, learn more about one another, reflect, and explore our thoughts and aspirations for the coming year. Our ICF NM Chapter President, Lisa Brewer, will address us as well with her reflections and thoughts on our accomplishments in 2020.

What to Bring

  • An object, photo, etc. of something that has been particularly meaningful to you this year. Be prepared to share.
  • Holiday beverage of your choice for sipping and toasting.
  • Holiday hat or sweater (optional).

Activities

  • Facilitated activities exploring our social theme of “Dreams.”
    We will do these exercises in breakout rooms, so we will have a chance to connect more personally and follow them with some large group sharing.
  • ICF New Mexico President’s message and reports from our committees on achievements and upcoming plans.
  • Contest for three terrific prizes which will be drawn at random at the end of the social including a gift card and seats in our programs and workshops, CCEUs included! Must be present to win!!

We hope you will join us in celebrating this wild year of 2020 look forward to making dreams come true in 2021!

Julie is an internal and external coach, consultant and facilitator with over twenty years of experience in corporate, public and non-profit organizations. He has been recognized as one of the world’s 10 most influential management thinkers and Fortune’s 40 under 40, and has received distinguished scientific achievement awards from the American Psychological Association and the National Science Foundation. Adam received his B.A. from Harvard and his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, and he is a former Junior Olympic springboard diver. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and their three children.

Deborah Thompson, ACC
Deborah is a certified Whole Person coach specializing in coaching leaders in the areas of confidence, emotional intelligence, executive presence and burnout. She has over thirty years of leadership experience in corporate and non-profit organizations, and continues to support community impact organizations through board consulting and pro bono coaching. Deborah currently serves on the Board of ICF Arizona, having served one year as VP of Operations, and will serve as VP of Social Impact for 2022. Deborah holds a Masters in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a BA in American Studies from Trinity College, Connecticut. She holds additional certificates in coaching, consulting and continuing education from BoardSource, Six Seconds, Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, Nonprofit Lifecycles Institute and Harvard Business School.

Julie Binter, CMC

Julie is an internal and external coach, consultant and facilitator with over twenty years of experience in corporate, public and non-profit organizations. She designs and delivers results-oriented development programs for individuals, teams, leaders and organizations. Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from Fielding Graduate University. She is a Certified Master Coach and holds several certifications with the Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Network.
